This year, Lisa is celebrating 10 years of recovery, and serves the recovery community as an attorney ; as a board member of non-profit organizations dedicated to recovery; as a liaison with the Court system ; as a speaker at treatment centers and hospitals ; as a writer; as a member of her church, Hope Hollywood; and as the owner and director of the house.
Lisa founded A Harvest House to serve all women who want to recover, in a safe, structured, serene and beautiful setting. The house provides an immersive 12 Step approach , in addition to medical care from outside providers . The house is a certified member of the Sober Living Network (SLN) and the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).
In 2016, Lisa received an award for outstanding leadership from the SLN, and , a few years ago, received a jurisprudence award from the Anti-Defamation League for outstanding service. Lisa has also authored appellate court cases in California which annotate discrimination law, and works on behalf of civil rights issues.
